There may be several causes for constant headaches which can be a result of tension bound joints in your body, tumors, infections, hypertension, stress related syndromes, refractive errors, glaucoma, head injury, brain injury, high fever, meningitis, migraine, cluster headaches, allergy triggers, smoke and fume, sexual tension headaches, concussion and all sorts of problems. There can be many a reason why one can get headaches and the possibilities are endless. It is important to understand the reasons before trying to heal the condition. The reason or trigger would have to be due to many things but spotting out what caused numerous problems to lead into that headache.

Checking out medical conditions that you might have had prior to the headache brings enough problems for you. Subdural haematoma, lumbar puncture, acute angle-closure glaucoma, dental extraction, herpes zoster, cervical spondylosis, cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral embolism, benign intracranial hypertension, hypoxia, asphyxia, hangover, hypertensive encephalopathy, eye strain, dehydration, sleep deprivation, ebola virus, hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, myelogram, ruptured cerebral aneurysm or cerebral aneurysm, myelogram, anemia, iritis, menopause, etc. can all be reasons why a throbbing headache can persist from hours to even days on and off.
